The trial for a Baltimore man who allegedly killed a police officer has been postponed.
Baltimore prosecutors say Brandon Grimes' attorneys have been granted an advance postponement.
Grimes' trial for the fatal shooting of Detective Troy Chesley was to begin Tuesday.
Grimes' attorneys want him to undergo psychological evaluations and have filed documents saying Grimes was not criminally responsible.
The trial has been rescheduled for Nov. 2.
Chesley was shot and killed during an apparent robbery attempt Jan. 9 as he was returning home from work.
