Man Charged In Wife's Death

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) ― Prince George's County police have charged a Washington man with first-degree murder in the death of his wife in May.

Forty-eight-year-old Spencer Chase was arrested Monday and charged in the death of his wife, 47-year-old Antoinette Chase. Spencer Chase is being held without bond.

Police say on May 20, officers found Antoinette Chase unconscious on the kitchen floor in the 3000 block of Ladova Way in Springdale. Mrs. Chase was pronounced dead at a local hospital, and the medical examiner ruled her death a homicide.

Prince George's County police have charged a Washington man with first-degree murder in the death of his wife in May.
