Schaefer Crab Draws Crowds

Baltimore, MD (WJZ) ― A larger-than-life fiberglass crab featuring the likeness of William Donald Schaefer is drawing crowds in Canton.

The crab stands in front of the Caton Safeway.

The creative crustean is the work of artist Jerry Breen.

The Schaefer crab is part of Baltimore's Crabtown Project.

In November, about 200 of the crabs will be auctioned off to raise money for city schools.
