Search Continues For Missing Maryland Kayaker

ELKTON, Md. (AP) ― Maryland Natural Resources police are searching again today for a Chesapeake City man who vanished while kayaking on the Elk River.

Forty-eight-year-old Michael Satterfield was last seen about 2 p-m Sunday and was reported missing about eight hours later.

His kayak was found Monday morning in the water near Locust Point, about a mile-and-a-half south of Elkton.

Authorities have used a helicopter, boats and cadaver dogs in the search. They planned to use side-scan radar today.
