Girlfriend Arrested In 'Burning Body' Case
Millersville, MD (WJZ) ―
Anne Arundel County police are announcing the arrest of a Millersville woman in connection with a homicide discovered last week along Old Mill Road.
Forty-nine-year-old Cynthia McKay is charged as an accessory after the fact in the murder of her 50-year-old boyfriend, Anthony Fertitta of Baltimore.
Police say they found evidence that Fertitta was killed inside McKay's home in the 200 block of Nathan Way, not far from the area where his body was found burning last Wednesday.
A police search of the home also found blood and evidence that bleach had been used to clean various areas.
Authorities say Fertitta died from sharp force injuries to the upper body.
McKay was expected to receive a bail review today.
Detectives continue to investigate the murder of Anthony Fertitta. The investigation is considered extremely active. Detectives are still asking anyone with information concerning Fertitta's murder to call the Anne Arundel County Police Department at

1-866-7LOCKUP , where they may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and indictment for those responsible for this murder.
