More Charges For Man Who Held Woman Captive
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) ―
A man accused of holding a woman captive for six weeks in a Carroll County home is now facing more than three dozen new charges.
William Parrish III now faces charges including first-degree rape, second-degree rape, sodomy and other sex offenses. He's also charged with assault and false imprisonment.
The 25-year-old Parrish is accused of committing the crimes while holding a 25-year-old Owings Mills woman captive in a home his grandfather owns in Finksburg.
The woman told authorities she was repeatedly raped, assaulted, burned, gagged with socks and tattooed with Parrish's name.
Her boyfriend says the woman escaped after Parrish left her unattended in the parking lot of a Westminster liquor store in late March.
