Time Running Out For Siberian Lynx In Kingsville
by Richard Sher
KINGSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) ―
Time is running out for a two-year-old Siberian Lynx being raised on Dan Vitilio's 14-acre farm in Kingsville, Baltimore County.
As
Richard Sher reports, Baltimore County health officials say 'Puddy' is a potential danger to people and a possible rabies risk.
Vitilio told
WJZ's Sher, "We need attorneys, we need people to help us keep Puddy here where he is happy, and lives in a double cage, where he could never break out."
Vitilio has lost four hearings in the county and is appealing his case to the Court of Special Appeals in Annapolis.
"We need animal lovers to call Baltimore County attorney Nancy West, and ask her to do the right thing and allow Puddy to stay here," said Vitilio.
Vitilio also said no one wants Puddy now that he has been neutered and declawed as requested by the county.
