Alcohol Ruled A Factor In College Student's Death
FROSTBURG, Md. (AP) ―
The state Medical Examiner's office says alcohol was a factor in the death last month of a 20-year-old Frostburg State University student from Cambridge.
The agency says John Pickett Junior asphyxiated after vomiting while intoxicated.
Pickett died February 25th after being found unconscious in the off-campus house he shared with other students. University officials say he was a junior majoring in economics.
In a statement, Frostburg State University says it will "continue with its aggressive alcohol education program."
