Three-time champion Andy Roddick and last year's winner, Juan Martin del Potro, lead the entry list for August's Legg Mason Tennis Classic.
Roddick is ranked No. 6, and del Potro is No. 5. They are among 10 members of the top 20 who have signed up for the hard-court tuneup for the U.S. Open.
Also on the entry list are No. 9 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, No. 10 Fernando Gonzalez, French Open runner-up Robin Soderling and 2002 Wimbledon champion Lleyton Hewitt.
The tournament has been elevated to ATP World Tour 500 status this year, making it one of the tour's top 20 events. It also is part of the U.S. Open Series, the circuit of North American tournaments leading up to the year's last Grand Slam championship.
