Six days and counting until the start of the new Ravens season, and the excitement is building.
Ron Matz reports it was an early wake-up call Monday morning in Baltimore as dozens of fans turned out in Fells Point for a "purple" Manic Monday.
Ravens super fan Bobby Nyk led the chorus as the Ravens faithful turned the square in Fells Point into a sea of purple. Fans, filled with excitement, counted the days until the start of a new season.
Sports Steve says Sunday's game will be a milestone.
"It's always a new fresh start for all Ravens fans and all football fans in Baltimore," said Steve. "I was out there the night they took our Colts away in the middle of the night. I know what it does to hurt people and I never want to see that happen again."
During Manic Monday, the crowd, Poe and Fan Man went wild. The Roosts are ready to rock.
"Just driving in to Baltimore this morning and seeing the stadium gave me goosebumps. So, I can't wait for our first real game," said Danie, Ravens cheerleader.
You can catch all the action Sunday at 1 p.m. on
WJZ-13 when the Ravens take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
