Steffy Likely To Be Backup QB For Bowl Game
BALTIMORE (AP) ―
Maryland senior Jordan Steffy may have a little more playing time left before his college career is over.
Coach Ralph Friedgen says Steffy will "probably" be the backup quarterback for Tuesday's Humanitarian Bowl game against Nevada in Boise, Idaho.
Steffy hasn't played since injuring his thumb in the season opener against Delaware. Chris Turner will start at quarterback, but Friedgen has hinted he wants to get Steffy in the game -- if circumstances allow.
