Harbaugh: Ravens Prove They Can Win Tough Games
OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) ―
Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh says his team has earned the right to be playing meaningful games in December, and that's all the Ravens care about.
The Ravens are 8-4 but have beaten only two teams with winning records. By virtue of being in the playoff hunt, their game Sunday against the Redskins has been moved to prime time.
Harbaugh says the Ravens don't care if the rest of the country knows about them or not. He says they aren't trying to impress anybody, and he says his players have proven they can win a tough game when it counts.
Meanwhile, Harbaugh says running back Willis McGahee sat out Sunday's game because using Le'Ron McClain and Ray Rice gave the team the best chance to win. He says McGahee will be a "huge part" of the December schedule.
