The Maryland Court of Special Appeals is deciding if Puddy, a four-year-old Siberian Lynx, will be allowed to continue living on the Eagles Nest Ranch in Kingsville, Baltimore County.
Baltimore County argues Puddy is a wild and dangerous animal and his living on the ranch violated county health code policies.
"It could go either way. They talked for 20 minutes and we talked for 20 minutes," Puddy's owner, Dan Vitilio, told
Richard Sher.
Baltimore County has denied Puddy permission to live on the ranch three times. The court can either confirm or reverse the lower court ruling.
"How many kids would never get a chance to see Puddy and the other 200 animals and be safe?" said Michele Vitilio.
The court's decision is expected in a few weeks.
