Springsteen Performed In Baltimore Friday Night

BALTIMORE (WJZ/AP) ― The Boss is back in Baltimore!  Friday night, Bruce Springsteen played before a sold-out crowd at First Mariner Arena.  Kai Jackson caught a glimpse of the sold-out performance.

The concert is complete, the line was long, and after 36 years, The Boss was back.

"I'm totally psyched.  I think he's doing the Born to Run playlist tonight," said Deb Rosenberg before the concert.  "We want our daughter to see him; she's never seen him."

The fact that he's here is not lost on these fans.

"Not to have the long ride home afterward, that's the best," Rosenberg said.  "Seeing him in other cities is hard and less convenient."

"His unique style--I don't think anyone's ever matched it," said Chrissy Nolan.

"He was born in a modest upbringing himself, so he kind of appreciates what he has," said Joe Kelly.

Bruce Springsteen performed in Baltimore for the first time since 1973 and will ask for donations to the Maryland Food Bank.

Springsteen performed Friday at 1st Mariner Arena.

Springsteen acknowledged the Food Bank before his first encore. Food Bank staff and volunteers were inside and outside the arena collecting canned food and donations of money.
