Jeppi Nut and Candy Co. of Timonium says it is voluntarily recalling Setton Farm's Natural Pistachios because of potential contamination with salmonella.
The company said Friday the pistachios were distributed in Jeppi's retail store and through mail order.
It was sold in one-pound brown bags if they were bought before March 30.
The nuts were also sold in bulk cases in cardboard boxes marked Setton Farms Naturally Opened California Pistachios Roasted and Salted, and were sold in eight-ounce clear bags.
No illnesses have been reported.
The recall affects Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Virginia. Consumers are urged to return to products to Jeppi.
