Giant Supermarkets Recall Garlic Bread And Spread

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) ―

Giant says it has recalled garlic bread and garlic spread because they contain milk products that are not declared on their labels.

The supermarket chain says people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to dairy products run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

No illnesses have been reported.

The recall involves 16-ounce packages of garlic bread with UPC number 21476670000 and 16-ounce packages of garlic spread with UPC number 20173310000.
