Beaver Dies After Roaming Mt. Royal Avenue

WJZ.COM has learned the beaver caught roaming Mt. Royal Avenue over the weekend has died. Baltimore City Animal Control euthanized the animal Sunday.

Animal Control officers were called to a scene on Mt. Royal Avenue, where a 30 pound beaver had gotten loose and roamed the community.

Officers had a difficult time getting the buck-toothed animal to cooperate, however authorities eventually gained control of the beaver.
