37 people were arrested as a result of a prostitution ring involving Craigslist.com.
The Pasadena Star-News reported that two suspected prostitutes leapt from second-floor windows to escape as "Operation Red Light" officers raided several locations where computer-assisted brothels were operating in Los Angeles.
Police officers across the San Gabriel Valley assisted Los Angeles Sheriff's deputies in the raids, which took place Tuesday and Wednesday.
Coordinated by the sheriff's department, officers made dates with about 32 women at locations ranging from massage parlors to condominiums in residential neighborhoods.
Federal immigration officers accompanied local officers on all the raids, and the FBI will be given two apparently counterfeit $100 bills seized in the raids, reported CBS station KCBS in Los Angeles.
