Rig Goes Off Md. Bay Bridge; 1 Dead

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) ― Police in Maryland say one person has died after a tractor-trailer plunged into the water off the eastbound span of the Bay Bridge.

Police spokesman Jonathan Green says a body was recovered and two other people were injured and rushed to hospitals after a three-vehicle accident Sunday on the Route 50 Bay Bridge.

The other vehicles in the accident remained on the bridge.

Green says he doesn't know yet what caused the crash.
