Health officials have closed Stoney Run in Linthicum and Hanover after a wastewater overflow.
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health warns against direct contact with the water from the BWI Amtrak/Marc station on Amtrak Way to the Patapsco River.
Officials say the overflow occurred within a 12-inch sewer main near Amtrak way.
The cause has not been determined, but public works crews have redirected the flow with the damaged sewer main and are investigating the cause as being related to heavy rains.
