The Virgin Mobile Festival is coming to Charm City this weekend.
Other than the Preakness, it's the biggest event of the year at Pimlico Race Course, and it happens this weekend.
Ron Matz reports some of the biggest names in music will be in Charm City for the third annual Virgin Mobile Festival.
From Kanye West to Bob Dylan, the Virgin Mobile Festival will be eclectic and electric.
At the infield at Pimlico Race Course, about 75,000 will rock-out Saturday and Sunday, and enjoy some of the hottest acts in the music business.
Old Hilltop was chosen because of its closeness to major East Coast cities and universities.
"We really enjoy the crowd that comes to Baltimore from D.C. to New York. We call it the I-95 crowd. It's been pretty perfect for three years. The community has been incredibly supportive of the festival," said Laura Jordan, director of events for the festival.
There will be two main music stages, but this party will have a whole lot more.
It's in the mix in the dance tent and the weekend will include three activity domes including one from Dell.
"We expect thousands of people. This site will feel very full but very comfortable. It will be a huge party," said Jordan.
Some of the other featured festival acts include the Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Lil Wayne, Duffy and Chuck Berry. Gates open at 10 a.m. both days.
