Pick-Up Truck Kills Pedestrian & Strikes Home

ROSEDALE, Md. (WJZ) ― Police are investigating after a pick-up truck killed a pedestrian and ran into a home in Rosedale.

Captain Mike Perry reports the accident happened around 2 p.m. on the 1200-block of Neighbors Avenue near Old Philadelphia Road.

Officials say a female pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk when she was hit by the truck. The truck then ran into the house.

There was extensive damage done to the porch and house.

The male driver of the truck lost control, and officials say he may have blacked out.

The woman was later pronounced dead at Bayview Medical Center.

The 1200-block of Neighbors Avenue was closed for a time after the accident.
