MARC Train Collides With Car On Tracks In Fred.

A woman was struck by a MARC train.
Frederick Police say a woman was hurt when her car was struck this morning by a MARC commuter train.
It happened about 5:15 a.m. at the railroad crossing near East South Street and Hamilton Avenue.
A police spokesman says there is a gate at the crossing, and its not clear how the car got on the tracks. The woman in the car suffered what police say are very minor injuries.
Police say the Maryland Transit Authority is sending someone to the scene to inspect the train.
MARC service from Frederick has been suspended. Trains are leaving from Monocacy.
