Is it a case of murder/suicide? That's the question police in Baltimore County are working to answer after four people are found dead inside a Towson hotel room.
Mary Bubala has the latest on the investigation.
Police have confirmed that the four people found dead inside the Sheraton Hotel room were related, but not from this area.
Right now, police haven't released the names of the victims as they work to notify the next of kin and figure out what led to a hotel room becoming a crime scene.
With a turn of the door knob, cleaning staff at the Sheraton Hotel in Towson opened the door to a guest room and found four dead.
"They were suppose to be checking out. That's when they found the bodies," said Cpl. Mike Hill, Baltimore County Police spokesperson.
Inside the room on the tenth floor of the Sheraton, workers discovered a man, two women and a teenage girl, all dead.
Baltimore County Police aren't saying how the four were killed or if any illegal activity appeared to take place inside the room.
Police are saying at this point they are not searching for any additional suspects.
The bodies were removed from the hotel room late Monday night and taken to the Medical Examiner's Office.
An autopsy is expected to be performed later Tuesday.
