Man Sentenced For Sending Texts To 11-Year-Old

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) ― A man has been sentenced to six months in jail for sending texts messages to an 11-year-old girl asking for nude photos of herself.

Forty-three-year-old Antonio Jay White Sr. of Mardela Springs had pleaded guilty to contributing to a child in need of assistance. He was sentenced on Monday in Wicomico County Circuit Court to three years in prison with all but six months suspended.

Authorities say While sent more than 20 inappropriate text messages to the girl in February. The girl told her mother, who alerted police.
