COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) ―

Kristi Toliver had 27 points and 10 assists, Lynetta Kizer scored 18, and No. 11 Maryland used an 18-3 second-half run to pull away to a 90-76 victory over James Madison on Thursday night.

It was the 23rd straight home win for the Terrapins (2-1), who were locked in a tie game with 11:46 left before Toliver made three baskets and a pair of three throws in the pivotal surge.

Demauria Liles scored 16 points and Marissa Coleman added 14 for Maryland, which got only four points from its reserves.

Dawn Evans led James Madison (1-1) with 33 points on 14-for-33 shooting and Courtney Hamner scored 12 of her 16 points in the second half.
