A parent of a Baltimore City elementary school student has been charged with assaulting a teacher at her child's school, Eyewitness News' media partner The Baltimore Sun reports.It happened at Matthew A. Henson Elementary School on 1600 North Payson Street.
Police say Lakia Farmer, 29, hit the teacher early Friday with a cell phone. Farmer has been charged with second-degree assault and using a dangerous weapon with the intent to injure. Farmer was released from jail on Saturday after posting $5,000 bond.
