Suspect Named In Fatal Port Deposit Stabbing

PORT DEPOSIT, Md. (AP) ― Police in Port Deposit have released the name of the local man being sought in the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old Rising Sun boy.

Police Chief Joe Swam says Craigg Wallace, 39, is known to frequent Port Deposit, North East, Havre de Grace and Aberdeen and goes by the street name "Chicken."

Wallace is accused of knifing Craig Gilley during an argument Saturday evening outside the School House Apartments complex in Port Deposit.

Wallace allegedly fled in a pickup truck that was later found abandoned.
