Police Name Suspect In Kidnapping & Sex Assault

TIMONIUM, Md. (WJZ) ― Two teenagers were abducted at gunpoint from a light rail station, then terrorized for several hours.

Mary Bubala reports police have named their first suspect.

Baltimore County Police are looking for 18-year-old Brian Scott.

They say he's one of two men responsible for the Oct. 10 abduction of two teens from the parking lot of a light rail station in Timonium. One of the 17-year-olds, a female, was raped.

Scott has a long list of past charges, including some for armed carjacking and attempted robbery.  Even though the cases were always dropped, police still call him armed and dangerous.

"It is imperative that we find him as fast as possible obviously because of the violent nature of this particular crime," said Cpl. Mike Hill with Baltimore County Police.

Police say the crime happened when the men approached the teens, a male and female, who were in their car at the Park and Ride.

The suspects forced their way inside and drove off with the victims. They raped the female and left them in Cherry Hill.

Police describe the other suspect who was with Scott as a black male, 20-years-old, approximately 6' with a heavy build.

"Our police officers have been out 24/7 in this investigation.  Out in several different communities, we have Metro Crime Stoppers fliers passed out with his face on it.  We're asking anyone with information who knows or sees him to contact us immediately," said Hill.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Scott or the crime is asked to call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587).  Those calling Metro Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
