Major Accident Ties Up Memorial Day Traffic

WHITE MARSH, Md. (WJZ) ― A trailer overturns on I-95 just north of White Marsh.

The accident snarled traffic on I-95 in White Marsh for several hours.

Officials say a trailer overturned causing the closure of the southbound lanes of I-95 and the temporary closing of the northbound lanes.

Officials say propane was spilled.

All southbound lanes reopened Monday evening.

Officials say traffic backed up for miles, and drivers should expect delays.

There were no major injuries caused by the accident.
