Stephen Nelson, 37, is charged with first-degree murder and child abuse resulting in the death of 3-year-old Turner Jordan Nelson.
According to court documents, a Baltimore father accused of throwing his young son from the Francis Scott Key Bridge told police that demons made him do it.
Alex DeMetrick reports Stephen Nelson, 37, is charged with first-degree murder and child abuse resulting in the death of 3-year-old Turner Jordan Nelson. The boy's body has not been found.
Court documents say Nelson called the boy's mother on Feb. 3 and told her he was going to kill the child. The call was made from a gas station less than a mile from the bridge.
The documents say a surveillance video recording at the station shows Nelson's car leaving in the direction of the bridge. The camera shows Nelson, but not his son.
Nelson was scheduled to have a bail review Monday.
