If you have been trying to get back to work, most people know the snow is a major headache. But for children out of school this week, it's just fun.
Weijia Jiang reports there is nothing better than to play in the snow.
Jack, 4, is a thrill seeker. In fact, so is the entire Anderson family.
The march is long.
"It's the highest hill around here," said one boy.
But it leads to a legendary adventure.
"This has been going on for years and years. I used to come here when I was a kid," said Tyler Anderson.
"It's really fast and really bumpy," said another boy.
"It's not really scary. You just have to hold on really tight," said one girl.
And for the first time ever, Jack flew down the hill.
"It's really fast and they have bumps and you get to go over ramps," said Jack.
The hot spot has guaranteed countless screams for decades.
Some say it is possible to be really bad at sledding. Some good tubers offered suggestions like starting on your butt, then going down on the smaller parts of it.
"Go down on your stomach," said another boy.
In short, just go!
The key is not to run into anybody and hold on tight.
There could be a lot more fun for all the kids in the snow in the coming days, with predictions of 12 more inches of snow falling in Baltimore.
