P.G. County Police Seeking Man Who Shot At Officer

SUITLAND, Md. (AP) ― Prince George's County Police are looking for a Landover man who shot at a county police officer.

The Violent Crimes Unit officer stopped Judondald Haynes, 28, as he was driving near Silver Hill Road in Suitland.

Police say Haynes fled in his car and the officer pursued him Feb. 7 about 8 p.m.

Haynes jumped out of his car at a dead end in the 3400-block of Pearl Drive and police say he fired a gun at the officer once. The officer wasn't hit by the bullet.

Police say Haynes then ran away on foot and he is still at large. He is charged with attempted first-degree murder on a police officer.

His last known address is 8400 Hamlin Street in Landover.
