Bouncer Dies After Hyattsville Strip Club Shooting

HYATTSVILLE, Md. (AP) ― Police say a security guard has died following a shooting outside of a Prince George's County strip club.

Authorities say just before midnight Friday 33-year-old Gregory Barron was shot in the upper body while working as a bouncer at Mustangs on Chillum Road in Hyattsville.

Officials say preliminary findings show Barron may have been in an argument with the gunman, who left the scene after the shooting.

Police say Barron had tried to pat down a man he believed had a gun. The two began arguing when the man pulled out a firearm and shot Barron.

Barron was taken to a hospital where he died.

Police say they are searching for two men in connection with the incident.
