Senate President Mike Miller says he's "not the least bit" concerned about the wide-ranging scope of a subpoena for records in a federal investigation into Sen. Ulysses Currie.

Speculation about the FBI investigation of Senator Ulysses Currie continues.
Pat Warren reports some Maryland lawmakers are not concerned by the FBI's focus on the state's budget and tax committee.
According to close colleagues, Senator Ulysses Currie is distraught over a justice department investigation of his activities, as chairman of the Senate Budget and Tax Committee.
Senate President Mike Miller is familiar with the subject. Miller was investigated for fundraising related to slots and cleared in 2004 after the FBI found no evidence of wrongdoing.
Now Currie is in the hot seat with an FBI raid believed to be related to his outside consulting activities for Shoppers Food.
The investigation may not only include Currie. Records of the entire Senate Budget and Tax Committee have been subpoenaed, leading to speculation the FBI may be putting pressure on or laying cover for someone else to come forward with information.
Federal prosecutors have set a June 11 deadline for compliance with their subpoena and legislative aides in Annapolis are working to meet it.
Federal prosecutors are not commenting on the case.
