MTA Bus Attack Witness Takes The Stand

BALTIMORE (WJZ) ― Key testimony from a witness who saw a young women get brutally attacked on an MTA bus.  Five teenagers are standing trial in this case.  Mike Hellgren tells us what that witness says in court today.

Eyewitness Joyce King says she could see the attack from her house.  She calls it "vicious" and "brutal" and says she rushed out to help victim Sarah Kreager.

"I don't want to ever see anything that again," King said.

She described the teens jumping off the bus to attack her.

"I didn't see anybody holding back," King said.

A major issue is identification.  King said she was focused on Kreager and so couldn't identify anyone positively.

Defense attorneys tried to get the home confinement of the teens relaxed because the trial was going on so long; the judge denied the request.

The bus driver is expected to testify Monday.
