The family of an inmate who died in his jail cell wonders why results of his autopsy have not been released.
Ronnie White, 19, was found dead June 29, two days after he was charged in the hit-and-run death of a Prince George's County police officer.
The state medical examiner's office issued a preliminary ruling the next day that White's death was a homicide and county officials said White had been strangled in the solitary confinement cell.
Bobby Henry, the lawyer representing White's family, says the delay is a disservice to the family, the community and the state.
The medical examiner's office said the final autopsy report would be released in 30 days, but that deadline has passed.
