Howard County Police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect who shot and killed a man Wednesday in Columbia.
Howard County Police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect who shot and killed a man Wednesday in Columbia.
Police say Bryan Adams, Jr. was shot and killed in the area of the Wilde Lake Village Center just before 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
A Howard County police officer at a nearby gas station heard gunshots and saw a witness running toward him for help.
The officer ran to the victim to offer aid and called for medical assistance.
Adams, 20, of Suffield Ct. in Columbia, was transported by ambulance from the scene in the 10400 block of Twin Rivers Road to Howard County General Hospital.
He died at the hospital as arrangements were being made to transport him to Shock Trauma.
Police are searching for a man seen in the area described as a black male in his late teens to early 20s, with a medium build, approximately 5'9" tall, with gold teeth fronts.
Police have increased patrols in the Wilde Lake area and distributed reward flyers in the community.
