Baltimore Co. Police Search For Bank Robber
TOWSON, Md. (WJZ) ―
Baltimore County police search for a man suspected of robbing banks.
Baltimore County Police have obtained an arrest warrant for William Michael Miller, 44, and are asking for the public's help in locating him. Miller is responsible for robbing three banks since Sept. 26, 2008.
Investigators believe that Miller is driving a blue 2000 Dodge Caravan with Maryland registration tags 11141M2.
Detectives say that in all three cases the suspect approached a teller and passed a note demanding money. The tellers in each robbery gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and he then fled on foot. Police do not know whether the suspect was armed at the time of the crimes or not, however he did not display any weapons during the incidents.
The suspect is responsible for robbing the following banks:
- September 26, 2008 at 12:27 p.m. at the Provident Bank located in the 8200-block of Harford Road, 21234 in Precinct 8/Parkville.
- September 29, 2008 at 9:20 a.m. at the First Mariner Bank located in the 1600-block of East Joppa Road, 21286 in Precinct 6/Towson.
- September 30, 2008 at 1:01 p.m. at the Eastern Savings Bank located in the 7900-block of Belair Road, 21236 in Precinct 9/White Marsh.
William Miller is described as a white male, 6' tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds. He is slender with short brown balding hair, and wears wire rimmed glasses. His last known address is in the 2700-block of Huntingdon Avenue.
