Man In Stable Condition After Potomac River Rescue

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) ―

Prince George's County authorities have rescued a man from the Potomac River.

Dennis Wood of the county fire and rescue service says the man was riding a personal watercraft about 5 p.m. Friday, when he went into the water just south of Woodrow Wilson Bridge.

Wood says it's unclear how the man fell off.

Wood says Virginia and Maryland authorities helped in the rescue.

He says the man was in stable condition, and was likely going to be transported to a hospital.
