Takoma Park Police Investigate Hit-And-Run

TAKOMA PARK, Md. (AP) ― Takoma Park police say a woman was in critical condition and a dog was killed after they were struck in a hit-and-run accident.

Police say the incident occurred about 1:30 a.m. Friday on New Hampshire Avenue near Devonshire Road. They say when officers arrived they found a woman unconscious on the road. She was taken to a hospital.

Police are looking for a black Honda vehicle with a Maryland license plate.
