Man Injured After Shooting At Police Officer

A Baltimore man is in the hospital after shooting at a police officer.

A man reportedly fired shots at his Woodberry neighbors, forcing police to intervene.
Jessica Kartalija has reaction from neighborhood residents.
Police say a man fired a gun at his neighbors in Woodberry and then turned the gun on an officer.
It's a very quiet street, and neighbors who like to sit out on their porches are very disturbed by what police say was a man who fired a number of shots waking them around 3 a.m. Saturday.
One neighbor says he saw people ducking behind their cars when he looked out his window after hearing gunfire. Then he heard a police officer shouting.
"It was along the lines of, 'Sir, please put the gun down.' Once I heard that, I turned around and went right back inside," said Eric Vicino, neighbor.
City police posted a tweet online saying Tim Decker, 28, fired a gun at neighbors. An officer in the area responded and says the suspect also fired at him. Decker was struck in the hand by the officer's return fire.
"Quite a bit of confusion, lots of cops moving around, people yelling. And then they brought a guy out on a stretcher, put him in the ambo and took him away," said George Noloff, neighbor.
The suspect is being treated at Sinai Hospital, and police say after that, he'll be charged.
An 82-year-old neighbor says he doesn't want to hide in the house where he's lived his whole life.
"I sure don't like it, not at my age. I'm scared when I hear gunfire. I don't want to come out on the porch," said Melvin Hare, neighbor.
According to court records, the suspect was arrested for assault just two weeks ago.
The officer who shot the suspect is a 9-year veteran of the department who is on administrative leave during the investigation.
