Toddler Death Probed In Queen Anne's
CENTERVILLE, Md. (AP) ―
The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of an 18-month-old boy in Sudlersville.
Sheriff's office spokesman Lt. Dale Patrick says the child died Tuesday while in the care of a baby sitter at a home on Main Street. Authorities say the caregiver reported giving the boy some juice, then the boy played for a while before falling asleep.
When the sitter checked later, he was not breathing.
The boy was pronounced dead at Chester River Medical Center. The body was sent to the medical examiner for an autopsy.
