Police Search For Suspect In Attempted Abduction

BEL AIR, Md. (WJZ) ― Police are looking into an attempted abduction in Bel Air.

On Sept. 15 at around 3 p.m., troopers from the Bel Air Barrack responded to Agora Drive in Bel Air for a reported abduction attempt.

Upon arrival troopers learned that Christina Parker, a 30-year-old, had briefly left her place of employment on a break and walked to a nearby coffee shop.

Parker believed she observed a suspicious vehicle passing her location once.

The vehicle, traveling northbound on Econ Drive near Agora, then approached her location. A man then motioned for her to approach.

The operator then indicated to the victim that he had lost a dog. As he  showed her a photograph, he grabbed the victim and attempted to pull her through the passenger side window.

The victim was able to escape the individual and return to her place of employment, where she notified the police.

The victim sustained a bruise on her right cheek during the attack.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, with a blue or black baseball cap, sunglasses and a dark colored shirt.  The suspect was driving a green older model Jeep Cherokee with no front registration plates.
