The case against a man charged in the robbery of an illegal poker game has been forwarded to Washington County Circuit Court.
Michael Joseph Campher, 22, of Hagerstown has been charged in the robbery. Two men took about $4,000 from 18 people, including a Maryland State Police trooper, who were involved in the poker game on May 30.
Washington County District Court records show Campher faces 52 charges. His case was forwarded on Tuesday. District Judge Ralph H. France II reduced Campher's bail from $400,000 to $250,000.
According to charging documents, the robbery occurred about 10 p.m. on May 30 in the 200 block of N. Prospect Street. Two men in ski masks walked in and ordered the players to put their money on the table, with one of the men pointing a gun at a player. The second man gathered the money.
