If you've always wanted to be a pirate, now is your chance. All you have to do is head down to Fells Point.
Ron Matz reports an idea hatched by three Baltimore mothers has turned into a hit new tourist attraction.
Welcome aboard the "Fearless," home to Baltimore's Urban Pirates.
It sets sail for a one-hour interactive voyage around the Inner Harbor.
"Visitors get tons of action from the minute they step on this boat to the minute they get off, they're involved," said Cara Hergen Joyce, one of the founders of Urban Pirates.
Three Baltimore moms who have a total of seven kids launched the idea after one mother attended a birthday party on a boat.
Riders get the chance to dance like a pirate, dress like a pirate and so much more.
"We dress like pirates, we have tons of pirate costumes on board and they get tattoos. We do face painting. Once they're out on the water, we we sing songs, play games. It's tons of fun," said Joyce.
The "Fearless" was built in Crisfield to United States Coast Guard specifications.
"We leave the Ann Street Pier in Fells Point, go the Inner Harbor, around the Science Center and the aquarium, then out of Fort McHenry and then we're back. It's one hour," said Joyce.
Pirate lovers will love these kinder, gentler pirates that are ready to capture your inner "Jack Sparrow."
"The kids have so much fun. They love it," said Erin Tschantret, one of the founders for Urban Pirates.
