New Phone Books In The Mail
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) ―
Verizon says new Washington County phone books, without thousands of previously published private listings, are in the mail.
Verizon spokeswoman Sandra Arnette says some people have already received the new phone books, which were mailed about a week ago.
Arnette says prepaid envelopes, so people can return the original directories, were also mailed last week.
Each person who returns one of the earlier directories in the prepaid envelope will receive a $5 gift card.
