19 Co. Republicans Interested In McKee's Seat
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) ―
Washington County Republicans say 19 people want former Delegate Robert McKee's seat. McKee resigned after police searched his home for child pornography but hasn't been charged.
The Washington County Republican Central Committee says the applicants include Williamsport City Council member Jeffrey Cline, Delegate Christopher Shank's aide Elizabeth Jones, Washington County commissioners James Kercheval and William Wivell, Williamsport's mayor James McCleaf and former Washington County commissioner John Munson.
The central committee will make a recommendation and Governor Martin O'Malley will make the final decision on McKee's successor.
