Orioles Off Until Thursday

BALTIMORE (AP) ―

The Baltimore Orioles are off for the next three days because of the All-Star break. Everyone is off except closer George Sherrill, who was chosen for the American League team.

The Orioles return Thursday for their longest homestand of the season -- 11 games in 11 days.

They'll play the first four are against the Detroit Tigers.

Left-hander Garrett Olson starts the opener on Thursday for the Orioles against left-hander Kenny Rogers.
