Ocean City Street Performer Faces More Sex Charges

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) ―

Ocean City Police say a licensed street performer already facing charges for allegedly fondling a teenager has been accused of assaulting two other girls.

Police say 21-year-old Andrii Mokrischev is also facing charges that he sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl and a 15-year-old.

The performer was first charged with fondling a 16-year-old girl when she posed with him for a picture.

Police say Mokrischev dresses as Patrick the starfish -- a character from the "Sponge Bob" cartoons -- and poses for pictures with tourists in exchange for donations.

Investigators are asking anyone else who believes they may have been touched inappropriately or assaulted to call police.
